This is supposed to be yet another comedy entertainer of Raviteja brand. After 'Mirapakaya' turned out to be a major hit, Raviteja is now on a high and is being ranked one of the top four heroes of Tollywood.
The film crew is currently shooting on the banks of river Godavari. These are combination shots of Ravi Teja and Sunil.
The shooting will be complete by the end of this month and the film will be ready for release next month. Kajal plays the role of a country girl 'Kabaddi Chitti' and Taapsee too has a meaty role.

Mr.Perfect Movie Audio Review...

Prabhas has always managed to get some entertaining numbers in his films, irrespective of the film’s fate. Everyone is expecting the same from Mr.Perfect. Of course the combination of Devisri Prasad and Prabhas makes the anticipation to listen to Mr.Percect song even more exciting because of their previous associations - Varsham and Pournami. Will Mr.Perfect be as good as the previous two?

1.Rao Gari Abbai
Artist(s): Tippu, Megha
Lyricist: Ananth Sriram

Kudirithe KappuAlbum starts with a very electronic feel, but it is not too long before Devisri Prasad’s typical beats will encourage you to put your feet together and dance. Ananth Sriram’s lyrics are comical, catchy and probably tell the story of every young chap / girl who is forced to ‘do something else’ by their dads or moms. The song is racy, and has written ‘hit’ written all over it right from the word go. Add to all these highly energetic Tippu’s voice, along with those almost philosophical English words in Mamba style. What a start!

2.Chali Chaliga
Artist(s): Shreya Ghoshal
Lyricist: Ananth Sriram

Kudirithe KappuChaliga Chaliga with the solo violin and the mandolin might remind you of Nenu nenuga lene from Manmadhudu. But let’s accept that it is the style with which DSP has managed to win us over. This one is no different, except that instead of DSP’s favorite Sumangali we have Shreya Goshal’s almost hypnotic voice. Ananth Sriram has turned a new leaf as a writer since his marriage, and this song is another proof. Yes, somewhere you might feel DSP might have over done it, but that’s ok, considering the overall feel of the song. This could well be women folks’ Telugu song of the year!

3.Ningi Jaaripadda
Artist(s): Mallikarjun
Lyricist: Ramajogayya Sastri

Kudirithe KappuWith Ningi Jaaripadda, you will begin to feel that Devisri has stuck to his hit formula with the album. The beat and tune sound like they have often been heard. Ramajogayya Sastri does a fair job of penning words into a typical filmy ‘teasing’ situation. Probably the tune could have been faster, but even before you think too much about this one, the song ends.

4. Dol Dol Dol Bhaje
Artist(s): MLR. Karthikeyan, Anitha
Lyricist: Balaji

Kudirithe KappuDon’t fall for the slow and soft start of the song as a sudden splurge of words, (penned interestingly by Balaji) will take away your breath, even though only for a short while. Yet again, the song has everything that you’d expect from a DSP’s song. Inspite of voices of some inspiring performances by the singers, the song is somewhat louder than the previous ones. However, interesting percussion with a twist of Qawwali make it entertaining.

5.Mora Vinara
Artist(s): Priyadarshini
Lyricist: G. Satyamurthy

Kudirithe KappuAlthough the song Mora Vinara, starts off with too filmy conversation, the sound of mridangams, jatis and overall traditional feel of the song definitely catches your ears. Writer Satyamurthy has dedicated this song to Lord Krishna, but we have heard some better ones. The English lyrics towards the end of it all, must have just been translated directly from Telugu, and don’t blame me if you want to skip it suddenly.

6.Aakasam Baddalaina
Artist(s): Sagar, Megha
Lyricist: Ananth Sriram

Kudirithe KappuBy the time you are listening to Aakasam Baddalaina, the initial energy that you found in the earlier songs is missing. Yes singers Sagar and Megha give it what all they could, but the entire composition falls down by the standards that DSP has set for himself earlier in the album. Same could be said about Ananth Sriram.

7.Aggipulla Lanti
Artist(s): Gopika Poornima
Lyricist: Rama Jogayya Sastry

Kudirithe KappuThe best parts of Aggipulla Lanti are - a) the way Rama Jogayya Sastry uses ordinary words to come up with entertaining lyrics, and b) it is just two minutes long. Otherwise the song sounds similar to Devisri’s earlier works in Arya 2, Khadgam etc., with no big efforts in making it sound any different.

8.Badulu Tochani
Artist(s): Karthik, Mallikarjun
Lyricist: Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry

Kudirithe KappuWhen we hear to more number of syllables per word, and the words keep coming at us in a rush, we should assume that it is Sirivennela’s mighty pen that is working magic. No matter how much he tries, Mallikarjuna’s nasal twinges doesn’t make him sound as good as Karthik in the song. Yet DSP is too buried in sticking to his formula, using his regular instruments.

9.Light Theesko
Artist(s): Baba Sehgal, Murali
Lyricist: Rama Jogayya Sastry

Kudirithe KappuJust like the first one, the final song of the album is energetic, jovial and has a veil of ‘advice’ around it. Baba Sehgal is at ease, and the usage of nattuvangam with harmonium is pretty interesting. Assuming that the movie will be released during the upcoming wedding season, this number is going to be a definite inclusion at all the wedding parties.

On the whole, Mr.Perfect is a mix of some energetic numbers and not too good ones. As said again and again, Devisri Prasad, for reasons best known to him, has stuck to tunes that have previously earned him applause. Of course he entertains, but in a very limited fashion, even though he had nine songs (chances) at his disposal. But common, isn’t it too much to ask for every song in an album to be as good as we expect it to be!

Kajal faces first rejection

Petite beauty kajal agarwal has always been the best buddy for producers and directors maintaining comfortable relations. When all South film industry heroes are running behind her for call sheets, for the first time Kajal faced rejection from Tamil hero Simbu in the Tamil remake of Bollywood hit ‘Dabangg.’

Yes, it is known from a source that Kajal was easily picked by Pawan Kalyan in ‘Gabbar Singh’ but the same was not that case in Kollywood with Simbu. The Tamil Super Star is waiting for release of ‘Vanam’ and is taking Tamil remake of ‘Dabangg’ seriously with big budget in hand. When Kajal wished to perform the heroine role of Sonakshi Sinha in both Telugu and Tamil, her wish was just half fullfilled because Simbu was trying to rope in a Bollywood beauty.
